Frankie Boyle has attacked Nigel Farage and comedian Andrew Lawrence after the UKIP leader called an anti-immigration blog post by the comic ‘honest’.

Nigel Farage drew the ire of the controversial Glaswegian comic after he tweeted a Metrostory about an online post written by ‘honest’ Andrew Lawrence that attacked ‘anti-UKIP’ comedians and said the main political parties were ‘too spineless to tackle the issue of immigration’.

Farage hit back at the comedian, tweeting:

‘Probably the funniest thing I’ve ever heard you say.’

Boyle replied: ‘You didn’t hear me say it you daft bastard.’
